It was wonderful working with Tzipora! She gave me lots of clear instructions that I was able to follow through with on my own. (We were doing long distance/virtual organizing.) Although I felt a bit embarrassed at first to send her pictures of my messy kitchen, she was so chilled and totally non-judgmental. She put me at ease right away. I felt comfortable opening up about my frustrations and lack of organizational skills and she totally got me! She spent a lot of time and didn’t rush me during the consult. The most awesome part was how motivated I was to go and implement! I loved all the ideas and my husband and kids were quite impressed. I needed my storage room overhauled and wasn’t getting to it. I hesitated hiring Tzipporah as I’m an organized person and know how to do it on my own. Wow. I was truly overwhelmed from months of home repairs, displaced furniture and construction dust over every inch of my basement. But at the end of my rope was finding DeClutter Together!!! I'm only 6 hours into my 18-hour package but I can already vouch that Tzipora can revolutionize your relationship to your space (and even your relationship with your partner!). Backstory: My husband and I moved suddenly to the Baltimore area without a chance to edit or organize our stuff or even to properly unpack, and since then we've been so busy that we haven't prioritized organization or had the energy to get started, even though our house has felt chaotic and unfinished. I didn't realize how much this rut was impacting our lives until Tzipora began helping us. Tzipora's work: I really appreciated that Tzipora could get started right away and loved working with her through our messy clothes collection, culling items for trash or donation (which she promptly took away with her), and coming up with a sustainable and visually pleasing system for organizing our clothes. Our dressing room is now so calm and orderly it's our favorite spot in the house. I also appreciate Tzipora's recommendations about products to help keep us organized (which she is happy to answer by text). It's a small investment to make in a future with less day-to-day procedural friction. I can't wait to tackle our kitchen together next (I'll add photos when we're done) and I already note more optimism and positivity in our home. Getting these small tasks done makes bigger tasks feel more possible and makes it so much more fun to go about our day-to-day lives. Plus it's somewhat addictive, in the best way -- I found that once I scheduled a few sessions with Tzipora I began feeling good about finding or maintaining a proper place for things, and I really hope this is the beginning of a mental change from thinking of tasks as chores to considering organization an investment in our future selves.
